PlastiSpan® 30 Insulation
Higher R-value and higher compressive resistance

PlastiSpan® 30 Insulation is used in Foundation Walls, Concrete Slab, Ice Rinks and Low Temperature Freezer Floors & Walls.


PlastiSpan 30 insulation is a closed cell expanded polystyrene (EPS)
insulation that meets the requirements of CAN/ULC-S701-11, Standard for
Thermal Insulation, Polystyrene, Boards and Pipe Covering. The closed cell
structure of PlastiSpan 30 resists water absorption so it will retain its
R-value even in applications where severe temperature differentials occur.

PlastiSpan 30 provides a minimum compressive resistance of 210 kPa (30
psi). The compressive resistance of PlastiSpan 30 insulation makes it ideal
for use in low temperature freezer floor applications where moderate loads
are expected.

PlastiSpan 30 insulation complies with the requirements of CAN/ULC-S701,
Standard for Thermal Insulation, Polystyrene, Boards and Pipe Covering,
the National Standard of Canada for expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation.
